The WEE Learn curriculum is a Christian-based curriculum for children from birth through Pre-K. It’s designed to support children and families by:
Considering individual differences: The curriculum takes into account each child’s learning style and individual needs.
Using play and interaction: Children learn through play and interactions with supportive teachers.
Using age-appropriate activities: The curriculum provides activities that are appropriate for each child’s age and developmental level.
Integrating Biblical principles: Biblical principles are integrated into learning activities and goals.
Using evidence-based practices: The curriculum is based on evidence-based practices and is cross-referenced with state performance standards.
The curriculum includes teaching suggestions for using books, music, nature, and toys to illustrate Christian fundamentals. For example, a teacher might read books about teddy bears with children, and then help them relate the concepts to their personal experiences.
The curriculum also includes themes that children explore every two weeks, such as dinosaurs, penguins, the ocean, and the solar system.
